First of all, I’m not a bandwagon Warriors fan; check the receipts if you want. The 2012-13 NBA season I started to like the Golden State Warriors. Growing up with diabetes wearing an insulin pump was part of my daily life. Since my insulin pump was fragile I had to be very careful playing basketball. I ended up learning to shoot a basketball very well from the 3 point line. The Golden State Warriors have demonstrated that they do that very well.

On February 27th 2013 Stephen Curry ERUPTED for a career high 54 points while shooting 11-13 from the three point line. I already loved shooting a basketball and Stephen’s performance that night solidified his place as my favorite player ever. Just watching him shoot the basketball so effortlessly brings so much joy into my life. Just trying to recreate what he does on the court at my local gym is so fun. People get very mad when I make ridiculous shots at the gym and make fun of me but I love it. His basketball IQ is beyond the roof and can outsmart anyone on the court. I have taken a few tricks from his playbook and implemented it in my play style. Even off the court Stephen is a vocal leader. Although not as big as Lebron he still uses his voice to shine light on important issues facing this country. In a time where NFL players are getting criticized for voicing their opinion basketball players like Curry are openly use their voice and I am 100% here for it. Steph Curry is the all around person I aspire to be both on and off the court and this is why he is my Favorite Player.

I love sports and everything about it. Growing up, my father and I shared an unbreakable bond watching all 4 Boston sports teams winning championships. I hope you enjoy the blogs we write as much as we enjoy writing them for you!
